THE CHALLENGE
One of Sydney’s busiest and most iconic roads was shut down for a 5-day entertainment spectacular, featuring acclaimed Aussie entertainers, and a cutting-edge drone show.
With a brief received in late October, tickets on sale 6 weeks later and event on January 1 – there was much work to be done! Chasing Albert was appointed for two years in a row to develop and implement the full digital marketing strategy for the event – running a total of 8 weeks.
Website design and development
First up was web design, development, and copywriting. We created a website that not only popped with personality, but helped users easily navigate the extensive event program. It received a user acceptance testing score of 98%!
User generated content
To help get people talking and booking, we enlisted micro influencers from relevant social platforms to create fun, informative content that helped boost awareness of ELEVATE to our target audiences.
Social media content
Selling out in less time than a Taylor Swift concert, we made sure that our social platforms didn’t just create hype, but also ensured those who missed out had major FOMO.
Community management
With an always on approach, event goers had a team of virtual information assistants at their fingertips, ready to respond and resolve queries in a flash.
