Mastercard is the official payment partner of the Australian Open. Widely considered by players to be the happiest slam of them all, Mastercard used this insight to create an integrated 2018 Australian Open campaign that was all about ‘Making a grand slam a happy slam.’

The campaign included Experiential, TV and Out of Home Advertising; PR and Internal Communications, as well as Digital and Social Activities.

Our communications focus was to highlight Mastercard’s role in making the Australian Open the happiest slam of them all, introduce its upcoming payment technology offerings to media, as well as generate excitement about the sponsorship internally to Mastercard’s thousands of employees across Australia.
